Unable to convince anyone of your innocence? Not seeing anywhere to turn for fairness and justice? Or have you ever felt you might be someone’s answer to an unjust accusation, if even in a small way?
I’m Darryl Burton, and I spent 24 years in a Missouri maximum security prison for a crime I did not commit. I’d like to invite you to learn about my story, not out of curiosity or compassion for what I went through, but rather to engage in helping the thousands of wrongfully convicted innocent people currently serving time in America’s dreadful prisons.
They call me the Miracle Man, and I’m on a mission to rescue those incarcerated who share my fate. Together we can help prevent the tragedy of wrongful convictions by working to make changes within our criminal justice system, while also providing support and services for my brothers and sisters when they receive their own miracle moment of a full exoneration.
We can be the light for those who are suffering in darkness.
I hope that my podcast will rally our country to become aware of this extreme injustice, but also inspire people to step up in their own communities and get involved with advocacy. Perhaps offering a helping hand to those who, like me, found ourselves with nowhere to turn for help to re-start our lives the day we are released.
I made a promise to God when I was inside, that if I got out, I would dedicate my life to serving Him and serving those who share my journey. So here I am!
