What is the Miracle Man Podcast?
Most Americans do not really understand how our criminal justice system works or the consequences when it malfunctions. Naturally, we want to believe that our justice system is just. However, when it comes to those of us who have been wrongfully convicted and incarcerated, the breakdown in the system becomes a glaring issue in which all citizens of our county should want to engage, and help advocate for reform.
There are thousands of people like me who had a family and dreams for the future. Yet, for some reason, they were wrongfully convicted and are trying to survive in our jails and prisons across the country. I have a miracle story of exoneration after 24 years in prison for a crime I did not commit. Now, I’m working every day on a mission to rescue my brothers and sisters who share a similar story.
You can be a powerful force for change with me, but only if you understand the scope of the problem and the reality of this dreadful situation for so many.
My Miracle Man Podcast is a conversation with those who have lived through a wrongful conviction and received an exoneration, along with discussing the related criminal justice issues and the breakdown of the system.
If you take the time to listen to someone’s story like mine, you naturally begin to put yourself in our shoes and hope someone may advocate for you. Can you imagine being locked in a cell for more than even an hour, let alone 24 years for a crime you didn’t commit? That was my life.
I hope that my podcast will rally our country to become aware of this extreme injustice, but also inspire people to step up in their own communities and get involved with advocacy. Perhaps offering a helping hand to those who, like me, found ourselves with nowhere to turn for help to re-start our lives the day we are released.
I made a promise to God when I was inside, that if I got out, I would dedicate my life to serving Him and serving those who share my journey. So here I am!
